It depends of course on the complexity of the request.  The more details that have to be arranged or sourced the more time it will take to plan a tour that meets your needs and expectations.  Strong Interpretation will endeavor to expedite the process as fast as possible and will provide regular updates on the progress of planning your experience as  the tour comes together.  In short, the more lead time you can give for a custom tour, the better it will be for making this a memorable experience for you.

Strong Interpretation requires a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your tour spot at the time of booking.  The remaining amount can be paid in full prior to the tour or at the time of the tour.  Payment options are credit card (VISA/Master Card), cash or through an on-line bank transfer ( Canadian guests only). Receipts of payment will be provided.

For all outdoor experiences, Strong Interpretation highly recommends weather appropriate clothing and footwear, winter, spring, summer and fall. This means dressing in layers where you can add or remove a layer of clothing depending on your personal body temperature.  High tech fibers that wick away moisture from your body and are quick dry, work in your favor, as do clothing made from natural fibers, like wool and down will help keep you warm.  Please NO cotton socks as this will only make your feet colder and contribute to blisters.  Mitts not gloves in the winter also add to your warmth and enjoyment during the winter.  Hats are a must too to keep you head warm or stop those pesky mosquitoes from biting your scalp.  These are just a few recommendations to consider.  When you book your tour, Rosie will discuss in detail the clothing requirements for your comfort, safety and enjoyment on your tour.

We love tours for small groups (maximum 12) and even, individuals or solo travelers.  Strong Interpretation provides personal experiences that are not only more intimate than you would find in a larger tour, but are surprisingly affordable.

A few snowflakes or mosquitoes?  Don’t let that stop you from booking your experience in the North. Strong Interpretation operates from winter (December 1- April 1) throughout the spring to fall (May 1- October 31).
